I Just Love Singing ... Don't You?

I've enjoyed singing ever since I was a child. My mother would play the piano in our living room and my grandmother would sing the "oldies." As soon as I was able, I joined in. In high school, I was paired with Fred Barton to perform as a duet in and out of school, and was also cast as Carrie in the musical theater classic Carousel...  and that, as they say, was that! I've enjoyed singing in various theaters and clubs, as well as on soap operas and talk shows such as The Merv Griffin Show and Another Life. I also sang the National Anthem at Shea Stadium and was lead singer in a French rock band called "Fantasm" in the '80s.

I've coached several students who had been told "you're not a singer." I hate that! And it's rarely true!  Some people need to study longer than others, but rarely is it true that one can't learn to increase one's ability and ... sing!
